Hi Larry,
I was wondering wether it would be ok to create an FSInn installer for my network that would install some VIP like models aswell and just ask for configuration for my network.
Is this ok to do or do I have to try and contact Benjamin?

How are you doing, Jayden. This is the third time that you've logged into the system with a different userID.
If you want to change something in your profile, many of the components are user configurable including the email address. If you want to change something that will require an administrator you can use the admin contact form.
The last time I took the time to remove the duplication and merge your message into the new account.
I'll leave this one active long enough for you to get this message. Please use the other account that you have on the system.
Advise me if you have problems using it.

Hi Larry,
Im sorry about the account confusion, if you want to delete the old one's - that would be good.
Is my above question ok?

I left this one open for the ability for you to get the message. I would prefer to delete the new one. I deleted the old one the last time.
It would also appear that you would prefer to retain your forum’s history.
I wouldn’t like to create a precedent for the users to create a new account every few months. Please use the other one. If there are any changes you want made to the other one, most of them, as I mentioned can be done VIA the user’s control panel. Any component that’s not available, advise me and I’ll assist you with it from the administrator’s control panel.
I’m sure you understand.

Hi, Jayden.
It would depend on some circumstances. Writing a tool that would do your modifications without alternating the distribution application would probably be the best way to go. You could instruct your users to download the distribution applications (FSInn/VIP package) and allow your utility to install them then make the modification after the installation. This way you’re not altering the published applications, but giving assistance to the users.

Hi Larry,
At the moment we are doing this and many users are getting confused as to what they should download, what version etc. The installer we have written will determine what version of FS the user has, the directory and then get the appropriate version installed. The models used are from a freeware package on AVSIM.
At the moment we currently have a tool which will configure FSInn for you. One of our main problems is that user's will not want to download loads of installers etc.
All T&C's for the program are the FSFDT and credit is given on every possible page (with links)
Thanks In Advance,
Jayden Spring
