Gamespy - FSX

Hello! Hope you are having a safe New Year so far! Anyways, I was wondering why sometimes, when I go into Multiplayer on FSX, and I login, sometimes it connects, and sometimes it doesn't. MOst of the time for me it doesn't connect. But once in awhile after about 10 or 12 times logging in, it works. Would it have to do with anything that I am on a laptop or have a wireless connection??

Try installing the Microsoft Loopback Adapter which fixes many network problems.

To install it, use the Add Hardware option (Select Advanced).
For Manufacturer, select Microsoft. For the Network Adapter, select Microsoft Loopback Adapter and proceed with the installation.

Configure the Loopback Adapter to a private Network. Set the IP to 172.22.1.1 and the Subnet mask to 255.255.0.0. Leave the Default Gate Blank.
