anyone could help me with to setup fsx server?

hey guys,
im going to setup up a fsx online server via fsinn to give players an opportunity join each other without bothering gamespy. but i never done that b4. could someone give me any suggestion how to get it done? e.g. whats the name of the software do i need? whats the procedure do i need to follow? :confused:
btw i already got the server. i just need to have the software.
and remember im not asking for the way to set up gamespy server. i mean what i need is the one fly together based on FSINN platform.

im really appreciate you update the software. i already located it in the download area, but i was stuck due to the user name and pin. the user name i uesd to login the forum is not accepted by the download are. is there any other way i can get an user name inorder to download resources form the down load area?

1 after i set up the server what kind ATC software do i need to ues to direct the players? iv been told IVAC could do that, is that ture? how can i make it run together with the softwar that you provided to me today?
2 the weather. how to settle down the weather update? or its static? iv seen some servers have the dynamic weather just like the fsx real world weather. how to make that heppend?

I’m not familiar with IVAC. I thought ProController was the most common. Maybe you can comment to me about it and I can check it out for future reference.

As far as using ProController, you don’t have to do anything special. Just login with ProController and then control. Detains are on our front page under Server Login information.

looks like asking me to login to a ftp server or something like that.

btw pro controller is not as good as ivac in my experience. because pro controller is poor on TCA controlling.

now im facing another problem to let the player login the fsd server, iv got a forum and i expect the players use the same username and pin login in the the forum and the fsd server, which is how can i make the data in fsd server link to the SQL database?:confused:

I don't know specifically. But as a workaround you can run a cron type routine to read the data from your SQL database and periodically update the cert.txt file.

Hi, 9GeeS. To facilitate others who might have information to chime in. or problems, and to be able to use the forum for searchable resolutions, it might be better for you to start a new topic for this new topic and allow some closure to the initial issue. If you combine everything in one thread, as it grows, I believe it would lose some of the potential of having easy resolutions to issues.

Please think of a good subject matter for this new item, and put a description there. I'll still continue to study your question so that I may have a good resolution for you by the time you start your new thread.

By the way, pick your own description subject, but some ideas to consider might be, "How to interface Teamspeak with a Flight server", "Setting up Passwords and accounts for Teamspeak", "Using Teamspeak and software addons", etc.

Use your imagination. I consider having a good topic a very good component of getting good feedback. It makes it easier to come back to the right topic when additional information.
