When flying online as unregistered, I received a message requesting a register for more access capabilities. I did so and received the following link as a part of the email aknowledgement. When I try to utilize the hyperlink, it fails. What do I do now?
http://flightsim.apollo3.com/fsdbase/fsdbase.pl?cmd=c®id=4e5ef58b04d718c510a1d0fcdd92b5f6 (http://flightsim.apollo3.com/fsdbase/fsdbase.pl?cmd=c®id=4e5ef58b04d718c510a1d0fcdd92b5f6)
Thanks

How are you doing, Al. First, this is something related to our Games forum (Flight Simulator) so I’m moving the topic to that area where others with questions or input on that matter can share in on the discussion.
I also would like to thank you for taking the time to attempt to use the facility in a registered manner. It’s used a lot but the only logs are the ones from the registered users. You’ll be able to use the log utility to review your sessions when logging on with your registered CID.
Clicking on the link gives two options. One of them is to use the forum to report a problem, and the other is to click on the Register link (http://flightsim.apollo3.com/fsdbase/fsdbase.pl?cmd=register ) to reregister. Did you test the reregister link?
There might have been a glitch during your immediate attempt to register which might not be in effect at this time. Thanks in advance if you would test it.
Finally, I would like to mention that the link that you posted is highly personal. Of course in this case it gave you an error message and instructions of what to do. I think it might be better to give the error information rather than the personal registered link. Then possibly edit the text that might have personal information in it. Something like this:
The Apollo III Flight Server Registration Confirmation Page
We experienced an error locating information your information. Please check the link again.
If you continue to receive this error, the link may have expired. You may register (http://flightsim.apollo3.com/fsdbase/fsdbase.pl?cmd=register) or use our Forum (http://forum.apollo3.com/) to report a problem. Thanks again for the participation. Let me know if the registration forum is continuing to fail or if it was the immediate glitch of the specific message.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the reregister option when the login failed, and was told my email address was already registered. I then had the system send my user information as an email. When I received that, I again tried to login (ensuring the information was entered in a case-sensitive manner), and was told "Sorry, Login Fail...."
I am unsure as to how to procede on this server.

The procedure you're using is correct.
Have you flown on the system with that CID and password?
When you attempted to log in did you use the same case (caps/lower case) that you were given, both for the CID and password?
You won't have a recorder viewable with the CID and password until you've used it on the server.

How are you doing, Al. I notice by Servinfo that you’re logged in (flying online) under the CID, 222222. The logging system does not record those logins. To use the logging system you’d have to flight the personal CID that was sent to you when you used the feature to recover your CID.
Look at the opening page ( http://flightsim.apollo3.com ) under the “Click Here for Server Login information” to see how to use your personal CID and password.
Let me know if you have any problems.
