Hi James.
I have a question regarding the FSD server connections.
Once in a while when we fly with our local group we connect to the server at my home, running on Linux RedHat 9.

The problem is that it usually after about 15 to 30minutes (but sometimes longer) throws us out and we have to reconnect. At first I thought it would have been one or two misconfigured FSInn installs with some of the pilots. Now however I'm beginning to believe it is me that is causing the problems.

For about 3 weeks I did not have the time to fly myself so I did not participate. However the group did fly. As far as I can tell form the log these sessions were OK. Please see attached file. Last tuesday I did find time to particapate and guess what (usually we fly tuesdays, sometimes thursdays). We were thrown out again. So this makes me believe it is me internally that is causing the problem. Perhaps it has got something to do with Teamspeak being a remote server I need to connect as well, where other pilots connect from internet to my fsd server.

I'm not sure what is happening. Usually after a few moments pilots can login again, sometimes I have to restart the server completely.

Have you had any experiance with this behaviour?
Regards.

Are you flying on the same PC as the FSD Server?

No, I've got a linux server (RH9) which has the fsd server software and another pc (win vista for now but will be win7 in near future) to use fsInn.
Unfortunately I have other problems at the moment (most likely the internet router) so the server is out for now, so I cannot test solutions, but if you have an idea, I would still like to know.
Thanks.
Regards.
