Hi everybody, as the topic title say's, im encountering a puzzeling problem whit FSCopilot 1.7 & FSX (not whit FS9).
Have been using FSCopilot whit FSinn for a while (many years in facT), whithout any problems, but lately FSCopilot module seems to conflict whit FSX. Why? i dont have a clue. when i open FSX i got this warning.

YES/NO

I have look at pretty every forum about FScopilot & FSinn & dont find any solution. I had try to modify the DLL XML order of modules loading, as someone had suggest me, but no joy. Its happen once than i have been able to make it work again reinstalling VB6 runtime before ( maybe just a fluke), but now the problem occurs again & honestly im short of solution.
Did someone's of you had encounter this problem?
If yes how did you resolve it, if you!

Thanks for your help.

P.S. Its maybe possible than another addon causing this conflict.
If you you aware of one in particular, it would be kind to tell me wich one.

Regards

Try the addon's fix provided in the FSInn/VATSIM FAQ linked on the front page ( http://flightsim.apollo3.com ).

Thanks alot, you talking about the ReimageRepair.exe?
So it could be related to the registry, correct me if im wrong.
I had take a look whit Ccleaner application & the only things related to FSFDT are about Active X.

Thanks for your help.

No. I don't know anything about a reimagerepare.exe. I'm speaking about the FSInn/VATSIM FAQ reference to FSInn and other addons.

It's question #8.

If its #8 question, i have give a try reordering my dll.xml file.
No joy, still got an error message at opening.

Could it be related to netframework 2.0, i dont think it was a registry problem (the error dissapear when FSCopilot & FSInn are installed), but far as i know FSCopilot use-it. But as FS9 use the same netframework whithout any problems, i have some doubts that was the problem.

Thanks for taking times to helping me.

NOTES: Im goanna try to disable all modules ( except FSUIPC one) to see if it could be an interference between those & tell you if i got positive result.

Sorry, still no joy.

I had left only the FSCopilot entry as:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252" ?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>FSCopilot</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\FSCopilot.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Still got the same message at FSX opening.

NOTES: I also had try to rebuild a new FSX.cfg, just to clear the trusted list & been ask again if i trust FSCopilot module, of course whithout any positive results. But its just to tell you what i have try to solve this inconvenient (must be a solution i guess:mad:). A last guest, could some data could be stock somewhere in the application data folder or something like that somwhere?
Whoops! before i forgot, could it be IP related?

Again thanks for your help i really appreciate.

Take care

FSInn doesn't use Netframework, so having it install or not doesn't matter. It doesn't use FSUIPC either. I would suggest using the dllxml tool to test without all the addons and see what you get.

By the way, I forgot to ask you for specific information about your environment such as your OS and patch level (SP1, SP2, etc) and third party firewall/antivirus program.

Can you give some specifics of your setup?

OS: MS Windows XP professional (media center edition) SP3.
Intel core2 duo cpuE8500 3.16GHz, 3.0GB RAM.
Nvidia GEforce GTX275.

Antivirus: AVG 9.0

NOTES: I got the same Antivirus AVG 9.0(version:9.0.819) on another PC whithout any problem whit FSCopilot.
If i remember i already had try to uninstall it to see whithout any good result. Could try again if its needed?

I have uninstall my Antivirus, & even whitout i still got the same message at opening. Seems to be hopeless, maybe its goanna work again as he did before. The only thing i could see causing problem was the netframework.
I got 3.5 SP1 updates. Must be a pain to uninstall & reinstall to 2.0 at least, & im really not sure if it was that. Anyway, if i find a solution i tell you, if you heard about a fix, would be kind of your part to just post it here.

I got the same result whit only FSCopilot install as addon. I dont think it was the netframework too, cause it work OK on FS9 whit the same framework. Could it be IP related ,should be problematic whit FS9 too i guess, who was not the case. Im asking you that because i remember to have open a multiplayer session on Gamespy on my other PC & been ask on this one to set my panel control to specific instead of autodetect.
But i dont remember than it was problematic at the time.

I just found something interesting about IP, first, mine on this PC seems brooken. If i try to find using command prompt as follow.

Click the Start button, select Run
Type CMD and press Enter.
A Command prompt window will open. Type ipconfig and press Enter.
Several lines of information will be displayed. The IP address looks like "149.72.61.234" - yours will probably have different numbers near the end.
I dont have anything. I'll try to fix-it if its possible (it seems i just found a tutorial about it).

On my other PC im able to get the router IP ones on-line & the PC specific using the Windows prompt command (IPCONFIG).

So i'll try to fix that hoping than it was that.
