Failed to Create error.......

Hi,

Now im new to FSInn, so please bare with me, i have done a full uninstall of both FSInn and FSCopilot 1.2/1.6, installed VB 6 Runtime again, reinstalled FSInn and Copilot 1.2/1.6 and still got the error in the picture below, so i then completely unistalled 1.2/1.6 aggain, and installed 1.3/1.7 and i still get the error.

The Error sometimes doesn't appear and i can use FSInn normally, other times i cant even open the control panel. (as seen in the screenshot) Other times i cant open the ATC window, or the flight plan window.

Any Ideas? Sorry im a vRAF Flight Instructor on VATSIM, and FSInn is kinda crutial so i can the other pilots correctly.

First, from the image, I'm sure you're running FSInn1.3. That's the first criterion. On changing versions, insure that a full uninstall of the previous FSCopilot/FSInn was performed.

Finally, try running the following programs outside of Flight Simulator from the start menu:

C:\Program Files\FSFDT\Control Panel\FSFDTCP.exe
C:\Program Files\FSFDT\Control Panel\FSFDTCPLite.exe
C:\Program Files\FSFDT\FSInn UI\FSInnUI.exe

Sir,

Yea that one was taken using 1.3, but i get it 1.2 as well. Now i have uninstalled it again, i then used a registry cleaner, and then i restarted the PC and then i reinstalled 1.3/1.7 and im still getting the same error hmmm, When you say clean install do u mean make sure teh FSFDT folder in Program files is deleted?

Sorry to be a pain.
I will those other Programs, i have already tried FSInnUI.exe and it crashed after 5secs.

ok whilst retryin the UI thing, i got this error, it connect to vatsaim fine, went to laod the atc screen and it said this


"Run-time error "372"

Failed to load control "ATC" from FScopilotFSInn.ocx. Your version of FSCopilotFSInn.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with you application."


now loooking around people say use the toolkit to checkfor errors, well the toolkit doesnt even start for me :( arg

Also, dont know if this may help, when i try to reinsall FSCopilot, just before clicking the button that says "install" there is a waring notice saying " Your FSInn version is not compatable with this FSCopilot version! You will have to update FSInn"

I have cleaned my registry, there is not FSFDT Folder in Program Files, there is however a FSFDT entry in my Programs Menu, but it only has the FR and EN links to the User guides.

Right, i think i have got thr UL working, i renamed the .ocx file that the wiki says to and it seems to work, touch wood, ill report back if it doesnt. thanks for the help :P

No, You're not a pain. I'm very interested in understanding the problems.

Running other things outside of Flight Simulator are part of the installation.
