Radio volume

Is it possible to increase the volume of the radio in VATSIM? So if I can't hear the controller very well, how do I raise the volume?

First, I'm sure you've already looked at the volume sliders in the Inn Control Panel.

If you have two sound cards you can configure one for the default Windows sound system and the other for the VATSIM sound (which can be addressed via the FSInn Sliders). This way you can have the Flight Simulator sounds and VATSIM sounds at different levels.

Windows Vista's mixer allow you to specify a volume setting for each program that accesses the sound device individually.

Again, more directly to your question, use the volume sliders in the Inn Control Panel for the VASTIM voice.

well i have posted in this forum and i did what all u have done but never sounds like 500,400,300, my airplane goes silently and lands so i need ur help as u said i have done and i think u saw my images that i sent u in a mail so pls help me i want a detain installation guide sir pls help me i like that a lot but its not working sir waiting for ur reply eagerly and also pls tell me whether i have copy those sounds to fsx sound folder or to something else and what all where all to copy and how to install sir pls help me sir pls

Your message is unclear. You typed your message in a subject thread about the VATSIM radio, but you're not mentioned details about the VATSIM Radio. Did you try the suggestions already given in this thread.

If you're typing a new subject, please make a new thread with a new description. This will make it easier for everyone to follow what is being discussed if they have a similar problem.

If you have a problems with any part of the manual, feel free to type your question. If it has to do with the VATSIM radio, this is the thread for it. Look at my message about how to change the volume controls on the VATSIM radio. If it's about something else, make a new thread with a descriptive subject on what the problem is.

A slight correction on this: The sliders that I think you're looking for are on the FSFDT Control Panel, not the Inn Control Panel.

The FSFDT CP can be access either via the Start Menu (All Programs\FSFDT\Control Panel) or through the System tray when Inn Control Panel has been launched through FS9/X.
