Vista & FS9

Hey guys what's up, I resolved the problem with connecting FSX to Vatsim with FSINN 1.7, however I want to know if it is possible, to run FS9 with Windows Vista 64bit and conect to Vatsim, FSINN 1.7 does not work well with FS9 and I cannot have the two versions of FSINN in the same PC so does anybody know how to go about it if at all possible?, basically is to be able to have both versions of FS in the same computer with Vista and be able to connect to Vatsim with either one without interfering with the other.

How are you doing, Jorge. First I would like to mention that you posted your question in the wrong area. You posted it in a forum that was setup for subjects that didn’t fit in any of the forums that are already set. Since the content of your question is Flight Simulator and FSInn, either of those forums would have been more appropriate. It’ll make it easier for others researching for answers to find relative topics. It’ll also make it easier for me to find the topic again to give the suggestion after I have researched the best resolutions.

I’m moving the topic to the FSInn forum for this convenience. It’ll save me time if you’ll look for the best sub-forum in the future.

It will help others having similar problems to see it fixed (as well as help us to know that we don’t have to keep looking for other solutions to close it).

Yes, FS9 is compatible with Windows Vista 64bit.

FSInn will automatically configure itself for all the versions of Flight Simulator you have installed on your computer. You don’t have to do anything special. You can run either version of Flight Simulator and connect to VATSIM.

The only requirement is that the Flight Simulator version is installed before you install FSCopilot/FSInn. If you install another Flight Simulator, just reinstall FSCopilot/FSInn and the support for each version is automatic.
