Many users' IP's were resolved by the mcdu.com server service. The resolver service is canceled at this time. I'll investigate and give an update on an appropriate resolution.

Thanks Larry.
RAF Virtual have long been a user and supporter of FSINN / FSFDT and have offered their services before if needed for testing, support etc.
We would be happy to run whatever software is needed on our server just for our members :)
It has had quite an impact on our operations especially formation and Air to Air Refuelling.

I'll look into this and let you know what resolution I can find.

How are you doing, Hawkt1.
The IP resolution by the mcdu.com site was turned off because the effect was to present ghost to many people, which was a result of many that had ill-configured systems. I appreciate your offer to provide a service, but it turns out that having someone else provide the server wouldn't be much different from mcdu.com providing it. This would also defeat the purpose of turning off the current resolution provider.
The immediate solution is to use the feature as provided in the manual ( http://wiki.mcdu.com/fsinn:manual:en:configuration?s=forwarding#the_pee r-to-peer_tab ). I’d be glad to assist with problems you might incur in using this resolution.

Any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated.
I read their response and I understand their position.
Is there no way a IP resolver can be setup on another server just for our users, we know the document that resolves to the mcdu.com resolver so if we could get one we can just give our users a modified .ini file and that would have not affect on users of vatsim or others

Larry
How feasible will be setting up an IP resolver for our server user be?
